CDEMS SUPPORT OPTIONS

 Many CDEMS users successfully rely on self-support resources or IT experts within their own clinics for technical support of their registry. Fee-for-service options are available for users with limited resources and IT capacity that need some level of supplemental technical assistance for CDEMS. HOURLY TECH SUPPORT

Clinic-specific consultation and CDEMS or lab interface issues resolution via e-mail, telephone and/or web conference. Use tech support on an "as-needed" basis or negotiate a package of hours to meet more extensive support needs.

Fee: $75/hr

START-UP SUPPORT

Begin your registry on the right foot with an overview of CDEMS and individualized start-up assistance. This support package includes interactive assistance via web conference with the following start-up tasks:
  • CDEMS installation your computer or network
  • Initial setup (clinic, defaults, pcp, ethnicities, state customizations)
  • Demographic data imports from other systems
  • Tickler system and pick list/validation rule setup
  • Customization of health condition tracking measures
  • 1 hour follow-up tech support

Note: SQL installations and extensive progress note/report customizations are considered "special projects" and not part of the start-up support package.

DATABASE CLEANUP

Data analysis to identify registry issues and areas for cleanup (pcp list, phone numbers, ethnicity groups, future dates, start dates, duplicate patients/diagnoses, erroneous vital signs/lab results, etc). Recommended data changes will be implemented after appropriate clinic review and approval.

Fee: $300 for 4 hrs of cleanup time; $75/hr for extensive cleanup beyond 4 hrs


SPECIAL PROJECTS

Support packages for quality improvement initiatives, major program modifications, customized forms/reports, SQL installations, and data imports/exports are handled on a case-by-case basis. Prices for large projects are negotiated based on scope and timeline of the project
